If you are experiencing a crisis, call 911, 1-800-273-TALK (8255), or text 'START' to 741741.

We are working to get funding together to join the American Association of Suicidology. The AAS just finished hosting their 49th annual conference, which we were unable to attend. We would love to be able to go next year, and have access to all of the resources they offer throughout the year.  I have set the goal for this fundraiser to $260, which is slightly over the actual cost of $240 to cover fees that PayPal will take.

The benefits we would receive from becoming a member organization are:

AAS Membership Offers:

  • Free clinical consultations
  • Free webinars
  • Suicide and Life-Threatening Behavior, AAS’s peer-reviewed bi-monthly journal, featuring current research, case studies, and applied prevention articles
  • Surviving Suicide, a quarterly e-newsletter, written for and by survivors

  • Training workshops:

  • Individual and organizational certification programs:
